ENG | Personal concept project (fictitious) of an illustrated campaign proposal for Caloi, a Brazilian bicycle factory that needs no introduction. Guided by the motto “With you wherever you want to go” (“Com você aonde quiser chegar”, in Brazilian Portuguese), the idea is to represent the pleasure of exploring, through cycling, the most incredible places, without limits, having Caloi as the best companion to fulfill this desire. Here, outer space is the metaphor for this incredible place and this lack of limit.
PT-BR | Projeto conceito (fictício) pessoal de proposta de campanha ilustrada para a Caloi, fábrica brasileira de bicicletas que dispensa apresentações. Orientada pelo mote “Com você aonde quiser chegar”, a ideia é representar o prazer de explorar, por meio do ciclismo, os lugares mais incríveis, sem que haja limites para tal, tendo a Caloi como a melhor companheira para realizar este desejo. Aqui, o espaço sideral é a metáfora para esse lugar incrível e essa ausência de limite.
ENG | To convey the message more clearly, allowing the interpretation of the idea in the most immediate way possible, I created the “astronaut cyclists”, with clothes that bring together characteristics of both characters: the space helmet, oxygen tank and gloves, of the astronaut; combined with the skin-tight clothing, helmet, goggles and the same oxygen tank in reduced size as a small backpack, of the cyclist.
PT-BR | Para transmitir a mensagem de forma mais clara, permitindo a interpretação da ideia da maneira mais imediata possível, criei os “ciclistas astronautas”, com roupas que reúnem características de ambos os personagens: o capacete espacial, tanque de oxigênio e luvas, do astronauta; combinados com a roupa colada, capacete, óculos e o mesmo tanque de oxigênio em tamanho reduzido como uma pequena mochila, do ciclista.
ENG | Seeking maximum versatility for application in different media, the illustrations were developed with a vast free area, allowing characters and text to be repositioned as needed.

ENG | In these illustrations, the style that I have been exploring for some time, combining digital painting, vector drawing and photography, collaborated to enhance the display of the product – in this case the bicycle – taking advantage of the visual appeal of art.
